Terms of Service
pz is a jigsaw puzzle app for personal use. Don't do anything illegal with it, don't try to break it, and please understand it is provided as-is by an independent one-person studio.
1. Agreement
By downloading, installing, or using the pz app ("pz", "the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not install or use pz.
pz is published by SEVENIF, an independent one-person studio (the "Studio", "we"). Contact: [email protected].
2. License to use pz
We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use pz on devices you own or control, for your personal, non-commercial use.
You may not: reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code of pz; redistribute pz or any portion of it; use pz to build a competing product; use pz in a way that violates applicable laws.
3. Your photos stay yours
pz does not take any ownership of the photos you use inside it. The puzzles you build from your own photos are yours. See the Privacy Policy for how we handle (or more accurately, don't handle) your data.
4. Purchases
If pz adds paid content in the future, those purchases are processed by the App Store or Google Play Store and are subject to their refund and billing policies. We will clearly label any paid content inside the app before purchase.
5. Content standards
pz lets you cut your own photos into puzzles locally on your device. You are responsible for the photos you use. Do not use pz to process or display content that is illegal, that depicts minors in sexual contexts, that infringes copyright you don't hold, or that violates the rights of others.
6. Updates and discontinuation
We may release updates to pz from time to time to fix bugs, improve the experience, or support new OS versions. We may also, at our discretion, stop updating or distributing pz on short notice — in which case you may continue to use the version already installed on your device, subject to compatibility with your device's OS.
7. Warranty disclaimer
pz is provided "as-is" and "as-available". SEVENIF does not warrant that pz will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every device. To the maximum extent permitted by law, all implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement are disclaimed.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SEVENIF shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages (including loss of data, lost photos, or lost puzzle progress) arising out of or in connection with your use of pz. In any case, SEVENIF's total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us for pz in the 12 months preceding the claim, which for most users is zero.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws applicable where SEVENIF is based. Any dispute will first be attempted to be resolved informally by contacting [email protected].
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent change. Material changes will be announced inside the app before taking effect.
